Abstract:
This relay device is mounted on a vehicle and distributes and relays electric power to a plurality of vehicle-mounted devices, including a first vehicle-mounted device and a second vehicle-mounted device. This relay device comprises an extension unit to which a trunk power line extending from a power supply mounted on the vehicle is connected, and a foundation unit that distributes power supplied from the power supply through the extension unit and supplies the power to the plurality of first vehicle-mounted devices which are directly connected to the device. The extension unit is configured as a separate body that can be separated from the foundation unit. The extension unit is provided so as to be replaceable according to the second vehicle-mounted device connected downstream of the extension unit in the current flow direction with the power supply upstream.
