Abstract:
A battery system comprises: a battery pack; a fusion diagnosis circuit comprising a first main relay having one end connected to a positive electrode terminal of the battery pack and a second main relay having one end connected to a negative electrode terminal of the battery pack, a first control relay connected between the first main relay and a positive electrode terminal of an inverter and a second control relay connected between the second main relay and a negative electrode terminal of the inverter, a first resistor and a first photo-coupler connected between the positive electrode terminal of the battery pack and the negative electrode terminal of the inverter, and a second resistor and a second photo-coupler connected between the negative electrode terminal of the inverter and the negative electrode terminal of the battery pack; and a BMS (Battery Management System) that diagnoses fusion of the second control relay by driving the first and second photo-couplers.
