Abstract:
The present invention relates to a release agent for plastics which is characterized by being an emulsion comprising the following (A) to (C) components and (E) component and having an average particle diameter larger than 200 nm but not larger than 350 nm: 100 parts by mass of (A) an organopolysiloxane having a 25°C dynamic viscosity of 100-100,000 mm2/s, 0.1-18.0 parts by mass of (B) an anionic surfactant, 0.1-10.0 parts by mass of (C) a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, and 50-100,000 parts by mass of (E) water. Thus, provided is a release agent for plastics that is an organopolysiloxane emulsion which is excellent in terms of stability to centrifugal separation, dilution stability, and mechanical stability and which, when applied to plastics, is less apt to suffer cissing and to cause cracks to the plastics.
