Abstract:
In order to reliably remove a release agent adhering to a tire surface after vulcanization and to be able to improve removal operation efficiency, a release agent removal method is provided for removing a release agent from an adhesion region where matter is adhered to the tire surface after vulcanization. In this method, a laser having an intensity that is capable of removing rubber on the tire surface in the adhesion region is intermittently irradiated while being moved, and multiple recesses are formed in the adhesion region such that there are multiple overlapping portions in which adjacent recesses overlap one another.
