Abstract:
A lever plate (22) on the side of a diaphragm spring fits to an inner race extension portion (24) of a release bearing (20). A ring retreating groove (30), a substantially tapered guide portion (31) extending from the bottom surface of the groove and a ring fitting portion (32) adjacent to the guide portion are disposed on one of a pair of cylindrical surfaces fitting to each other. Another ring retreating groove (36) and a second ring fitting portion (37) are disposed on the other cylindrical surface. A connecting ring (21) is interposed between both cylindrical surfaces in an elastically deformed state, and ring press means is disposed so as to move the connecting ring (21) from the ring fitting portion to the ring retreating groove (36) by pushing the connecting ring (21) in an axial direction.
