Abstract:
In order that a release material applied to the surface of a lining refractory for molten-iron or molten-steel ladles might be prevented from decreasing in release property, the present invention provides a method in which water is added to a release material comprising kish graphite obtained from steelmaking processes and a binder (water-soluble polymer) and the resultant mixture is applied to the surface of a lining refractory for molten-iron or molten-steel ladles.
