Description:
A RELEASE WIRE SYSTEM PROVIDED IN FIFTH DOORS OF

VEHICLES Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a mechanism which prevents the release wire provided in fifth door of vehicles from being displaced. Background of the Invention

Today most of the new model vehicles have tailgate (5 th door). The opening and closing forces in 5 th doors of the vehicles are inversely proportional to each other. The force applied on the door handle differs depending on the client.

In the state of the art, the door handle is opened, and the wire in the mechanism is pulled as a result of this opening process, and the said wire actuates the nib on the lock enabling to open, and thus the door is opened. However, the release wire is not pulled when it is displaced in case the force applied is excessive, and the movement is not transferred to the nib on the lock. Therefore, the door is not opened. This creates difficulty for the user in terms of vehicle ergonomics.

United States Patent document no US20100088855, an application known in the state of the art, discloses a door handle assembly for a vehicle comprising a bracket mountable to the vehicle door, a handle portion configured to pivotally attach to the bracket and an actuating element pivotally mounted to the bracket. The actuating element connects to a release mechanism, and it is attached to the slot by means of pins. The said part has a slot for the pins. The United States patent document no. US5531489, another application in the state of the art, discloses a system which prevents the release wire from tangling. The locking mechanism comprises a movable releasing component and a latch, and it can move between an unlatched and a latched relation with the door opening catch. A manually operable releasing assembly is mounted for resiliently biased movement into an inoperative position; the releasing assembly having a manually engageable component disposed outwardly of the interior panel.

United States Patent document no US20160108646, another application known in the state of the art, discloses an apparatus for preventing a vehicle door from opening including an outside handle having a pulling lever which extends from the outside handle into a housing. A release cable protector case is hingedly connected to an upper side of the housing to pivot. The cable is connected to the slot with a hinge, and its one end is released.

The Problems Solved with the Invention

The objective of the present invention prevents the 5 th door from being deformed in case an excessive force is applied by making the force applied on the door handle in vehicles independent from the client, and it provides ease for the user.

Detailed Description of the Invention

A release wire mechanism provided in fifth doors of vehicles developed to fulfill the objective of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying figures, in which:

Figure 1 is a view of the outer metal plate.

Figure 2 is a view of a release wire mechanism provided in fifth doors of vehicles. Figure 3 is the front view of clips.

Figure 4 is the front view of the clips and slot. Figure 5 is the view of the clips while being attached to the tabs provided on the door handle.

Figure 6 is the view of the clips while compressing the release wire.

The components shown in the figures are each given reference numbers as follows:

1. A release wire mechanism provided in fifth doors of vehicles

2. Outer metal plate

3. Inner metal plate

4. Release wire

5. Clips

6. Tab

7. Slot

K. Door handle

A release wire mechanism provided in fifth doors of vehicles (1) of the present invention essentially comprises

- an outer metal plate (2) and an inner metal plate (3) which are located on the body panel of the vehicle,

a release wire (4) which is located on the door handle (K) for opening the vehicle door provided on the outer metal plate (2),

at least one clips (5) for the release wire (4) to be compressed by entering into a slot (7) thereon in order to limit the movement of the release wire (4).

a plurality of tabs (6) which are provided on the door handle (K) for the clips (5) being attached and fixed. A release wire mechanism provided in fifth doors of vehicles (1) of the present invention has an outer metal plate (2) and an inner metal plate (3) on the body panel of the vehicle. The user exerts a certain force on the door handle (K) located on the outer metal plate (2) to open the door and a release wire (4) provided on the door handle (K) is pulled.

A clips (5) compresses the release wire (4) so that the release wire (4) is not displaced when the user harshly pulls the door handle (K) back. There is a slot (7) on the clips (5), and the release wire (5) enters into the slot (7).

There is a plurality of tabs (6) which are provided on the door handle (K) for the clips (5) being attached and fixed. When the clips (5) is attached to its place, the structure with the tabs (6) prevents the release wire (4) from exiting the slot (7). The clips (5) can easily attach to the tabs (6) on the door handle (K), and it makes a rich sound during mounting which means it is attached. Thus, no matter how large the force applied to the door handle (K), the release wire (4) does not come off.

In one embodiment of the invention, the clips (5) is comprised of end part design.

In one embodiment of the invention, the clips (5) is designed in form of a nut, and it can easily be attached to the bolting gun.

In one embodiment of the invention, the clips (5) is made of plastic material.

In one embodiment of the invention, the clips (5) is made of elastic material.
