Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to suitably achieve reliability in translation results in a machine translation, even without presupposition of a statistical machine translation, and to suitably prompt re-entry to the input-side user if the reliability is low. The present invention is characterized in being provided with: a translation means (501) for performing machine translation on inputted text; a reverse translation means (502) for performing a reverse translation process on the translation result; a translation reliability computation means (503) for calculating translation reliability on the basis of the distance between the inputted text and the reverse translation result; and a reliability presentation means (504) for presenting the user with one or more of the inputted text, the translation result, and the reverse translation result together with the reliability corresponding to the inputted text, the translation result, or the reverse translation result, wherein the reliability presentation means (504) presents the inputted text and/or the reverse translation result together with the translation reliability to the user, on the side in which a first language was inputted, when the translation reliability is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value.
