Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a fuel supply pump that balances preventing cavitation erosion in a relief valve seat part when highly pressurized, and reducing relief valve pressure loss when releasing abnormal high pressure. To achieve this goal, the present invention comprises: a relief valve; a seat surface in which is formed a seat part on which the relief valve is mounted, the seat surface being inclined at a first angle in relation to the valve axis direction; a downstream-side inner-diameter expansion part that is formed connected to the seat surface on the downstream side of the seat part, and is formed so as to expand outward in the radial direction in relation to the seat surface from the bottom end of the seat surface; and a downstream-side end face formed on the outer side in the radial direction from the bottom end of the downstream-side inner-diameter expansion part.
