Abstract:

A relief valve, comprising a high-pressure port (14) communicating with a hydraulic circuit (41), a low-pressure port (15) communicating with a drain circuit (42), a valve (11) supported to be axially advanced and retreated to open/close a passage between the ports (14) and (15), a piston (12) supported movably in the same axis direction as that of the valve (11), a spring (13) interposed between the valve (11) and the piston (12) and energizing the valve (11) in a valve closing direction against a pressure at the high-pressure port (14), a damper chamber (20) formed on the rear side of the piston (12), pressure leading passages (26) and (27) leading a pressure on the upstream side of the valve (11) to the damper chamber (20), and a plurality of orifices (30a) to (30d) replaceably disposed, in series, in the pressure leading passages (26) and (27).
