Abstract:
Provided is a relief valve enabling miniaturization. A relief valve (1) comprises: a housing (11); a plunger (12) capable of moving to each of a closed position and an open position; a differential pressure chamber (18); a spring member (15); a piston (13); and a damping chamber (16). The plunger (12) has a first damping passage (32) that passes through the plunger and establishes communication between the outside of the plunger (12) and a penetrating channel. The piston (13) has a second damping passage (33) that passes through the piston and establishes communication between the interior of the piston (13) and the damping chamber (16). A communicating space (34), which connects the first damping passage (32) and the second damping passage (33), is formed between the plunger (12) and the piston (13).
