Abstract:
A remaining capacity notification device for providing notification of a remaining capacity of a secondary battery mounted on an apparatus, wherein a reliability determination unit determines the reliability degree of a state of charge (SOC) indicating a secondary-battery remaining capacity which should be notified to a user of the apparatus, on the basis of the slope of a SOC-open circuit voltage (SOC-OCV) curve of the secondary battery, corresponding to the SOC. The notification control unit performs control such that the remaining capacity of the secondary battery is to be notified in a notification mode based on the reliability degree of the determined SOC.
