Title:
REMAINING LIFE ESTIMATION METHOD FOR ESTIMATING REMAINING LIFE OF HIGH-CHROMIUM STEEL PIPE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/051558
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to accurately determine the value of a constant used in the Monkman-Grant method when estimating the remaining life of a high-chromium steel pipe through which a high-temperature, high-pressure fluid is made to flow. The remaining life estimation method according to the present invention is characterized, in particular, in that a constant acquisition step (creep progression test S1) is carried out for obtaining a constant indicating the product of the strain rate and rupture time in the Monkman-Grant method by multiplying the single-axis rupture ductility obtained from a sample of a high-chromium steel pipe by a first coefficient for conversion to multi-axis rupture ductility, a second coefficient for correcting the consumed life of the sample, and a third coefficient for correcting a measurement pressure to an evaluation pressure.
