Abstract:
This remote control system efficiently and remotely controls a terminal device that has no display device. Provided is a remote control system 100 comprising a terminal device 10 that has no display unit, and a remote control device 20. The terminal device 10 comprises: one or a plurality of input and output units; a storage unit storing a program that uses the input and output unit; a GUI unit that generates a GUI screen for operating the program; an operation processing unit that operates the program through the GUI screen on the basis of command information from the remote control device; a capture unit that captures a GUI image of at least a partial region on the GUI screen; and an image transmission unit that transmits the GUI image to the remote control device through a network. The remote control device 20 comprises an image storage unit storing a plurality of reference images on the GUI screen relevant to the result of the operation of the program, and an image verification unit that decides whether or not the GUI image received from the terminal device matches the reference image.
