Abstract:
The present invention relates to a top-shaped functional robot. More particularly, provided is a remote controllable top-type robot which is capable of continuously rotating and changing directions beyond functioning just as a simple rotating top-shaped toy, which has improved functionality with the addition of various allowed accessories, and which is capable of providing the user with an opportunity to learn about dynamics and wireless communication as well as the function of a toy. The present invention comprises: a base member; a top-type rotating body rotatably disposed at the base member; a pair of rotation and direction changing means rotatably disposed and extending in an inclined and protruding manner from the base member to the outside; a driving means disposed at the base member to rotate and drive the top-type rotating body and the rotation and direction changing means; a supporting means rotatably fixed to the lower surface of the base member; a control unit provided with the base member to control the driving means; and a power supply source supplying power to the driving means.
