Abstract:
A remote controlled umbrella utilizing both wind and solar energy comprises umbrella ribs (1), struts (2) of the umbrella ribs, and an umbrella pole (3). A solar panel (6), a wind generated electricity device (10) and a chargeable battery are disposed above a connection joint of the umbrella ribs (1), and the connection joint of the struts (2) of the umbrella ribs is slidably connected to the umbrella pole (3) by a sliding lower runner (7). A motor and gear mechanism for controlling the opening and closing of the umbrella is connected to the sliding lower runner (7), and a remote controller communicates with an electric control unit by a radio signal.
