Abstract:
A remote-controlled work robot comprises a remote-controlled actuator (80) and a support (81). The remote-controlled actuator (80) includes an elongated spindle guide (3), an end piece (2) attached to the distal end of the spindle guide (3) by means of a end piece connector so as to allow the end piece to take an arbitrary posture, and a housing (4a) for a drive unit to which the proximal end of the spindle guide is connected. The end piece (2) rotatably holds a spindle that grips a tool (1). The support (81) comprises a single-degree-of-freedom system that give a single degree of freedom or a multi-degree-of-freedom system that gives more than two degree of freedom with respect to a base (82). A drive unit (84b,87a,89a) is provided that drives the freedom-of-motion system.
