Abstract:
An air-conditioning system having a plurality of remote controllers for controlling a plurality of air-conditioning devices. The remote controllers are provided with a first communication unit, a second communication unit, a third communication unit, and a main control unit. The first communication unit transmits an operation signal for controlling an air-conditioning device to the air-conditioning device. The second control unit wirelessly communicates with a wireless communication device or another remote controller with which wireless communication is possible. The third communication unit performs wired communication with another remote controller with which there is a wired connection. When the second communication unit or the third communication unit receives an operation signal and there is another remote controller with which there is a wired connection, the main control unit controls the third communication unit so as to transmit the operation signal to the other remote controller with which there is a wired connection. When the second communication unit or the third communication unit receives an operation signal, there is no other remote controller with which there is a wired connection, and there is another remote controller with which wireless communication is possible, the main control unit controls the second communication unit so as to transmit the operation signal to the other remote controller with which wireless communication is possible.
