Abstract:
Disclosed is a server device provided with: a virtual client unit for activating an application and generating a screen in accordance with instruction information from a mobile terminal received by way of a packet transfer device on a mobile network; an encoder unit for transmitting, as a packet to the packet transfer device, encoding results in which the entirety or a portion of the screen is compression encoded; and a rate control unit for measuring the response times of a series of response signals received from the mobile terminal with respect to the transmitted packet, and for controlling, in accordance with the measurement results, the bit rate and/or the frame rate of the compression encoding performed by the encoder unit.
