Abstract:

A mobile information terminal is placed in the vicinity of an ID recognition apparatus of a notebook computer. The notebook computer reads the ID of the mobile information terminal to identify the network address of the mobile information terminal and establishes a network connection with the mobile information terminal. Furthermore, in the notebook computer, appropriate operation information is transmitted via the network to the mobile information terminal. For example, during execution of presentation, screen information for presentation operation is transmitted to the mobile information terminal. Accordingly, by using one of the devices connected by wireless or wired network, it is possible to control operation of the other device.
