Abstract:
Disclosed are a remote unit group control scheduler and scheduling coverage method in a distributed indoor distribution 5G system. The control scheduler comprises a group pilot sending module, a pilot measurement report processing module, a user group managing module, and a scheduling module. The scheduling coverage method comprises the following steps: step 1: grouping all remote units in a 5G distributed system; step 2: controlling, by a central unit, to send specific pilot signals of different remote unit groups on the different remote unit groups; step 3: receiving measurement reports of a user equipment for the pilot signals; step 4: specifying a remote unit group serving the user terminal; and step 5: allocating radio resources to the user equipment according to the unit group serving the user equipment. The present invention resolves the problem of noise floor rising caused by uplink remote unit signal combination and the problem of uplink and downlink asymmetry in conventional 5G indoor distributed systems.
