Abstract:
The present invention provides a remote video distribution system for an elevator, the system being capable of maintaining a quality of a video distribution service provided to a user of the elevator while reducing a communication cost. A remote video distribution system (10) for an elevator (20) includes a plurality of display devices (11) provided in a cage (21) or a landing (22) to distribute a content to a user and a remote video distribution server (50) that transmits the content to each display device (11) through a communication line (12). The remote video distribution server (50) comprises: a delivery effect calculation unit (62) that calculates an effect of delivering the content by each display device (11); and a data communication amount control unit (63) that reduces a data communication amount when the delivery effect calculated by the delivery effect calculation unit (62) is low in a case where the data communication amount in a predetermined period reaches a first data communication amount or more.
