Abstract:
A remotely operated actuator which can accurately change the attitude of a front end member by remote operation, the front end member being provided to the front end of an elongated shaped guide section and supporting a working device, and which also can perform adequate attitude change control executed according to the straightness of the front end member which varies from product to product. A remotely operated actuator is provided with an elongated shaped guide section (3), a front end member (2) which is mounted to the front end of the guide section (3) so that the attitude of the front end member (2) can be changed, and a working device (1) which is provided to the front end member (2). The attitude of the front end member (2) is changed by advancing and retracting, by a drive source (43) for attitude change, an attitude operation member (31) located inside the guide section (3). The drive source (43) for attitude change is controlled by a control means (63) for attitude change. The remotely operated actuator is also provided with: an attitude detection device (9) which detects, without contact, the attitude of the front end member (2) relative to the guide section (3); and a correction means (65) which corrects, using attitude information detected by the attitude detection device (9), a command value which the control means (63) for attitude change outputs to the drive source (43) for attitude change.
