Abstract:
Provided is a renewal method for a passenger conveyor, the renewal method being capable of suppressing a time period, in which the passenger conveyor cannot be used, from being extended, when a renewal of the passenger conveyor is performed in stages. The renewal method for a passenger conveyor is provided with: a safety device updating step for updating an existing safety device with a new safety device in the passenger conveyor; a driver updating step for updating an existing driver of the passenger conveyor with a new driver, after the safety device updating step; and a control panel updating step for updating an existing control panel of the passenger conveyor with a new control panel, after the safety device updating step.
