Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to enable route selection to be performed without having route information. A communication unit (1a) communicates with repeaters (2, 2a, 2b) belonging to a network (7) and being a candidate destination for transfer of data addressed to a network (9) connected to the network (7). When selecting a destination of data transfer, a control unit (1b) acquires, from the repeaters (2, 2a, 2b), information (D1, D2, D3) indicating a di stance from each of the repeaters (2, 2a, 2b) to a repeater (3) connected to the networks (7, 9). The control unit (1b) selects a destination of data transfer from among the repeaters (2, 2a, 2b) on the basis of the distance-indicating information (D1, D2, D3).
