Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enhance communication quality and reliability by means of enabling quick maintenance and repair if an occurrence of abnormalities in a repeater is found by means of monitoring an optical core connected to the repeater. To this end, disclosed is a repeater optical core monitoring system using an OTDR. An optical core monitoring device for a repeater comprises: an OTDR which operates, if an optical power value input to a repeater by means of an optical core is not within a predetermined value, and is for checking the state information of the optical core; and a communication module for receiving the state information and transmitting same to the outside.
