Abstract:

The state of communication over a communication network where communication channels having communication characteristics different in each protocol and session of a VoIP network and the like constructed in a multivendor environment can be accurately simulated, and the quality of communication through IP telephone or the like over a supposed communication network can be evaluated. A repeater (1) for repeating packet communication between communication devices is used. The repeater (1) sets, as an initial processing , virtual processing blocks (1100) according to the contents of the first received packet prescribed by a control protocol in such a way that the virtual processing blocks (1100) correspond to the direction of transmission packets, the protocols, and the attributes such as the streaming data type and repeats communication of the packets after the initial processing depending on the distribution of the packets disappearance rate and delay time of the packet designated by communication state information related to the respective processing blocks (1100).
