The bearings (4, 5) of a printing roller (6, 10) of a printing machine, preferably a flexo printing machine, which comprises at least one counter-pressure cylinder (8) and at least one printing roller that is over-mounted in the frame (1, 1'), can be displaced in guides (3) relative to the counter-pressure cylinder. A bearing (13) is provided to catch the shaft journal (12) of the free end of the printing roller. In order to be able to easily push out the enveloping jacket (14) and/or the adapter jacket (15), two shafts (17, 18) are mounted in such a way that they can rotate and move longitudinally in the bearing block (11) over-mounting the cylinder roller parallel to the center line of the printing roller. The inner ends (19) of said shafts facing the printing roller bear radial arms (20) with thrust pieces (21) on their ends. The outer ends of the shafts are rotationally mounted in a holding piece (22) and are provided with a rotational drive. The holding piece is provided with a drive (26) moving it relative to the bearing block.
