Abstract:
This reproduction device that reproduces a moving image file in which data, outputted from an imaging element having a first imaging area for imaging an object and a second imaging area for imaging the object, has been compressed, includes: a decompression unit that reads the moving image file including first compression data obtained by compressing a plurality of first frames generated on the basis of data outputted from the first imaging area having a first frame rate set therefor, and second compression data obtained by compressing a plurality of second frames generated on the basis of data outputted from the second imaging area having a second frame rate faster than the first frame rate set therefor, and decompresses at least the first compression data of the first and second compression data; and a reproduction unit that reproduces a plurality of frames having been decompressed by the decompression unit.
