Abstract:
The invention is about rescue equipment for high-rise buildings, which applies the principle of regulating speed of hydraulic cylinder (6) by regulating valve (5) to annul the free fall acceleration and velocity and change them to slow and controlled movement in order to assure safety of users when escaping from high altitude; the equipment typically has its drum (4) fitted with a ratchet (3) - ratchet stop mechanism or one-way brake mechanism which make the shaft (11) (connected with hydraulic stop mechanism) only rotate in the direction so as to lower the load.

Claims What is claimed is:

1. The above stated rescue equipment for high-rise buildings include:

- Drum (4) for releasing and winding cable (8) fitted on shaft (11) supported by bearings (12) and support frame (13); characterized in that the drum is fitted with ratchet stop - ratchet (3) or one-way brake mechanism which only impacts on the shaft to make the shaft rotate in direction of lowering the load (people, in this case);

- Shaft (11) is fitted with discs (14) with eccentric pin (15) installed, driving the pushing bar (16) of hydraulic cylinder (6) along with piston (17) to form the mechanism of crank — transmission bar - guide block;

- Oil flows in upper and lower parts of cylinder (6) is connected with each other and controlled in direction and flow rate by throttle (5) which is used for automatically controlling speed;

- Cable is wound to the drum thanks to separate crank (2) or one engine without obstacle by the ratchet stop — ratchet (3) mechanism or the oneway brake mechanism and without connection to hydraulic cylinder.

2. Rescue equipment for high-rise building of claim 1 wherein the components operate under principle that user's weight is the motivation source and lowering speed is controlled thanks to mechanism of crank - transmission bar impacting on hydraulic cylinders being regulated by oil flow throttle.

3. Rescue equipment for high-rise building of claim 1 wherein the drum for releasing and winding cable is fitted with mechanism of ratchet stop - ratchet or one-way brake mechanism.

4. Rescue equipment for high-rise building of claim 1 wherein the drum revolving transmits movement to the disc with eccentric stop pins or eccentric crank connected with pushing bar of hydraulic cylinder (6) along with piston can shake on the turning couple.

5. Rescue equipment for high-rise building of claim 1 wherein out-in oil flows of hydraulic cylinder (6) are connected to each other and regulated by throttle (5) which has one-way valves and regulating valves to control out-going oil flow.

Field of the invention

The invention relates to rescue equipment for high-rise building used for escape from high buildings or from high above the down position. Background of the invention

In movies high techniques, jumping from height to ground, sea level can be carried out through air speed-reducer that included drum-carrel for winding cable, drum-carrel's axis that fixed into propeller so that this propeller crashes into the air in order to reduce drop speed. This solution has some disadvantages such as requirement for predefining drop thing's weight, high level drop for determining drop acceleration that is inversed with Drum-carrel's diameter (this means that acceleration will be big when Drum-carrel's diameter is small) and this makes fan's axis rotating faster and air resistance force bigger for breaking acceleration active force.

Besides, during rescue process, drop thing's weight and rescue high level are not predefined, therefore when these parameters change, the above mechanism is not met rescue requirements. Summary of the invention

The purpose of the invention is proposed a rescue equipment for high-rise building, use of escape at a time from 2 to 5 people (up to 1000kg load) and high degree of position about the rescue 200m, equivalent to more than 60 floors high-rise buildings.

Purpose mentioned above is reached by rescue equipment according to the invention high-rise building. The device application of the principle of hydraulic cylinder manufacturing rescue equipment to salvage and rescue for high buildings, in the process will annul the use acceleration and velocity of free fall, slow down and adjustable drop speed and safety when used for emergency exit down from on high.

To achieve the above goal, rescue equipment's the invention, which are controlled by lowering speed is mechanism of crank - transmission bar impacting on hydraulic cylinders containing oil, the cylinder is regulated transfer thanks to dynamic adjustment of the throttle, controlling the flow of oil, which adjusts the speed of fall of rescuer. The cable winds around the drum have Ratchet - ratchet stop or one-way brake mechanism to destroy the structure of braking force only impact the way down.

The cable 8 winds around the drum 4 with a specific amount of cable depending on height of the place can be escape. The free end of the cable is connected with hook 10; the other end is fixed on drum 4. The drum can revolve freely on shaft 1 1. On one surface of drum 4 installed with ratchet stop 3.b. The ratchet 3. a is installed firmly on shaft 11. Ratchet stop 3.b keeps pressing against gullet of the teeth of the ratchet 3. a. Direction of the teeth of ratchet 3. a is arranged so that when drum 4 revolves to release the cable 8, i.e. to lower the hook 10, then the ratchet stop 3.b shall impact on ratchet 3. a and make the shaft 11 rotate. Drum shaft 11 and ratchet 3. a are supported by shaft bearing 12 and equipment frame 13. Two ends of shaft 11 are fitted with round discs 14. Stop pins 15 are installed eccentrically onto face of disc 14. Pins 15 are connected with pushing bar 16 of hydraulic cylinder 6 via turning couple. Lower end of cylinder 6 is fitted to the frame with turning couple, which enables the cylinder to shake within a specific range because the impact of eccentric radius of pin 15 when the round disc 14 revolves. Oil flows in compartments of hydraulic cylinders are connected with each other and all go through throttle 5. One end of drum 4 is one big gear 7. a supported by shaft 11 and engaged with small gear 7.b which is supported by bar 7.c; this support bar 7.c is fitted with one separate crank 2. Crank 2 rotating shall make drum 4 revolve to wind cable 8 around the drum 4.

Operation principle

With the aim of rescue persons that live in high-rise apartments when fire occurs. The equipment's operation principle has important characteristics as following: (i) It does not use external energy source but it bases on escape person's weight that makes the equipment operating automatically and (ii) It extinguishes and absorbs energy of potential creating free drop moving with drop thing's acceleration (this means escape persons) and controls automatically drop speed with relative regular velocity according to required safety speed. Equipment operation

The equipment is hung or installed at emergency exit point outside the building. When using the equipment, users wear the belts 9 and connect the end of the belt onto hook 10 of cable 8 on drum 4. The hooks 10 have strong safety lock to prevent the belts 9 from coming out in all situations. After connecting the end of the belt to the hook, the users release their bodies to outside. Due to their weight, cable 8 shall be pulled down, which make drum 4 rotate. Ratchet stop 3.b, being fitted on drum 4, shall rotate accordingly. Ratchet stop 3.b is engaged with the ratchet 3. a on shaft 11 ; the ratchet stop teeth make the ratchet 3. a rotate, which rotates the shaft 1 1. Shaft 1 1 revolving shall cause discs 14 to rotate. Pins 15, eccentrically fitted on discs 14, along with pushing bar 16 of hydraulic cylinder 6 and piston 17 shall form a crank-guide block mechanism. Pin 15 rotating shall cause the bar 16 and piston 17 in cylinder 6 to move up and down. Now the cylinder 6 suffers from shaking movement because it is fitted to the frame by turning couple. During up and down movement of piston 17, oil in cylinder 6 shall be pressed in impact direction. This oil flow does not go freely but via throttle 5 (which controls speed of lowering) including regulating valves and one-way valves to control oil flow rate, and control moving speed of pushing bar 16 accordingly. Controlling the speed of bar 16 means controlling the rotating speed of disc 14, then to monitor the revolving speed of drum 4 which actually is lowering velocity of users wearing belt 9 to assure safety. To assure absolute safety, the equipment has two controlling units being two hydraulic cylinders 6. The equipment has only one cable branch which is used to lower people down. To rewind the cable, the crank 2 shall be used to rotate the drum 4 in cable winding direction. Now, gear transmission (7. a - 7.b) makes drum 4 revolve and ratchet stop 3.b rotate and slide on the back of ratchet 3. a without obstacle, which means the revolution of drum 4 has no connection to hydraulic cylinder 6 and the drum shall wind the cable freely.

Equipment designed to ensure safe conditions standard for all subjects, invalids, the elderly and children living in the building can confidently fire escape occurred. Obtained Benefits

Nowadays, in the world, there are many high-rise building's rescue solutions such as helicopter, steam cushion, emergency slide, rope ladder, ladder car, etc. However, modern equipments only concentrate on building fire fighting and cannot rescue all people in fire building. Helicopters and ladder cars can rescue some persons who can go out of the buildings and give emergency signals. Therefore, when a building is fired, death rate is not low. Besides, these equipments are passive and it is difficult for rescuing because of narrow roads, traffic jam, electric wire catch, narrow building position such as helicopter cannot rescue for building that has no heliport; ladder car can only rescue for building with maximum height of 30 meters but it can meet some rescue difficulties in case of narrow building; steam cushion can only rescue for building that has some floors and only some persons or really active persons dare to jump down and if they define wrongly drop points, they can dead or emergency slide has some disadvantages such as: there are a lot of people together sliding down so they will be pressed and borne each others and emergency slide is not a safe rescue solution. Besides, emergency slide is fixed on terrace's position. When fire occurs, power will be cut so that people will difficultly look for emergency slide position because of smoke.

This high-rising building's personal rescue equipment is fitted each apartment of the building so when people hear fire alarm they can take the initiative escaping and they will quickest escape before the building burns up.
