Abstract:
The present invention extracts information which is useful in designing a research strategy from a huge amount of information. This research perspective presentation system obtains from a document group a latent degree of association between two words according to the obtained degree of co-occurrence while considering the latent relationship between the two words which are included in the document group on the basis of the meaning of the words or the context in which the words appear, also obtains from said document group the existing degree of association based on the frequency with which the two words actually appear, selects a pair of two words on the basis of an indicator obtained by collating the latent degree of association and the existing degree of association for two-word pairs extracted from the document group, and extracts from the document group and outputs recommended research perspective information, which is information pertaining to the selected two-word pair.
