Abstract:
The present invention prevents residual liquid from falling on a preform or a molded article. A residual liquid removal device 1A is provided with: a vacuum pump 74; a vacuum suction circuit 76; a vacuum suction valve V5; and a supply channel 14. The supply channel 14 is connected to a port 6 of a blow nozzle. The blow nozzle 1 is configured to be openable and closable. After a preform is blow-molded, the blow nozzle 1 is closed, the vacuum suction valve V5 is controlled from "close" to "open", and the vacuum pump 74 is operated. By this procedure, liquid remaining in the blow nozzle 1 is suctioned, by a negative pressure created by the vacuum pump 74, from the port 6 into the vacuum suction circuit 76 via the supply channel 14.
