Abstract:
The resilient wheel for a rail vehicle comprises a hub (1), on which outer surface an annular boss (2) is provided, and a clamping disc (8), between which resilient elements (13) and a rim (4) are arranged, and on inner surface of which rim an annular lug (5) is provided. The hub (1) and the clamping disc (8) are arranged through fasteners (7) and provided with ventilation holes (3, 9). Some of the resilient elements (13) are reinforced and arranged between the side surfaces of the clamping disc (8) and of the annular boss (2) of the hub (1) and the side surfaces of the lug (5) of the rim (4), whilst the remaining one is arranged between the hub (1) and the inner surface of the annular lug (5) provided on the rim (4). The resilient element, arranged between the hub (1) and the inner surface of the annular lug (5), provided on the rim (4), is fabricated as a silent block (14) and is arranged so that it may turn in relation to at least one of the wheel members (5 and/or 1) coupled therewith, and that in front of both silent block (14) faces the ventilation holes (3, 9) are provided in the annular boss (2) of the hub (1) and in the clamping disc (8).
