Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin belt which has excellent abrasion resistance, excellent slidability when sliding at high speed under high load, and excellent formability suitable for extrusion molding. This purpose is met by a resin belt 1 having multiple teeth 3 arranged at a prescribed interval in the length direction on a travel surface of a belt main body 2 formed from a thermoplastic resin, said teeth being covered by a tooth cloth 5, characterized in that the tooth cloth 5 is a fabric that uses thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers as warp fibers in the belt length direction and fluororesin fibers as weft fibers in the belt width direction and that is formed by weaving said warp and weft fibers, and in that the ratio of fluororesin fibers exposed on the tooth surface-side of the teeth 3 is greater than or equal to 50% by unit surface area, and the ratio of fluororesin fibers exposed on the surface of the teeth 3 bonded to the belt main body is less than or equal to 50%.
