Abstract:
Provided is a glove which has good adhesion to a rubbery or resin coating material and excellent durability, and which can fit hands well and therefore has good labor effectiveness. The glove is produced by knitting a coated yarn that is produced by winding a sheath yarn around a core yarn and has, attached to at least a part of the surface thereof, a rubbery or resin coating material. The glove is characterized in that the sheath yarn is a crimped yarn composed of high-strength fibers having, as a raw yarn property, a tensile strength of 1.75 N/tex or more as measured in accordance with JIS L 1013 8.5, and that the crimped yarn fulfills the following requirements (1)-(3) at the same time: (1) the degree of bulkiness is 40 cm3/g or more as measured in accordance with JIS L 1013 8.16 method A after the treatment with hot water at 90˚C for 20 minutes; (2) the bulk compressive elastic modulus is 80% or more as measured in accordance with the above-mentioned method; and (3) the elastic elongation rate is 20% or more as measured in accordance with JIS L 1013 8.11 method A.
