Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin composite that is more wear resistant and has higher fracture energy than conventional resin composites. A resin composite that: is manufactured using 40 to 400 weight parts of inorganic particles, said inorganic particles having been surface-treated by a surface-treatment agent that has a terminal reactive double-bond group or a terminal aromatic group, per 100 weight parts of a resin with a melting point or fluidization point in the 200-500°C range; and has a mean embedding rate, as shown in formula 1, of at least 55%. Also, a method for manufacturing said resin composite and a dental material using same. Formula 1: Mean embedding rate (%) = 100 × [EP/(EP+V)] (In formula 1, EP represents the number (count/(10 µm×10 µm)) of exposed inorganic particles in a 10 µm square region of a polished surface of a test piece of the abovementioned resin composite as seen by a scanning electron microscope and V represents the number (count/(10 µm×10 µm)) of holes formed by inorganic particles having come out of the composite in the 10 µm square region in which the EP number was counted.)
