Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a resin composition which, when employed as an agricultural film, exhibits excellent heat-retention properties, without any reduction in transparency; and an agricultural film. The present invention provides a resin composition including 100 parts by weight of a resin and 1-20 parts by weight of a heat-retention agent. The heat-retention agent is represented by formula (1), namely MgXAl2(OH)2X+4(CO3)∙mH2O (in formula (1), X satisfies 4.0 < X ≤ 6.5, and m represents 0 or a positive number). In the heat-retention agent, the difference between a molar ratio obtained from 2θ in the (110) plane using X-ray diffraction and a molar ratio obtained using chemical analysis is not more than 0.7 (with the caveat that the molar ratios are values of Mg/Al2).
