Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a flame-retardant resin composition for artificial hair, which exhibits excellent frame retardancy, while having good transparency and smoothness similar to those of human hair. [Solution] The present invention enables the achievement of a flame-retardant resin composition for artificial hair by having a resin composition contain 100 parts by mass of (A) a polyester and 5-40 parts by mass of (B) a bromine-containing flame retardant that contains at least one substance selected from among poly(pentabromobenzyl acrylate), brominated phenolic resins and polydibromophenylene oxides, said polyester (A) having a melt viscosity of 80-300 Pa·s.
