Abstract:
The present invention relates to a resin composition for a cable sheath and an electric wire comprising same. A resin composition for a cable sheath according to the present invention allows a sheath layer of a flame-retardant cable product, which may include the resin composition for a cable sheath, to maintain the inherent physical properties thereof, such as flame retardance and water resistance, which are required for the sheath layer, at an excellent level. In addition, the composition can significantly alleviate: difficulty in unwinding the flame-retardant cable for use resulting from adhesiveness which may occur due to factors such as pressure between cables due to winding of the cable product including the sheath layer of the flame-retardant cable product; and a problem relating to the occurrence of a secondary defective product due to the pull-off phenomenon on the surface of a cable, which may occur when a cable is unwound.
