Abstract:
Resins that have dynamic covalent bonds and are produced using existing technology have poor hydrolysis resistance. When, for example, such resins are used for an extended period of time in a location with a humid climate such as Japan, degradation due to hydrolysis is a concern. The present invention provides a liquid varnish that includes a compound having a hydroxyl group, an ester bond group, and two or more vinyl groups; a polymerization initiation catalyst; and a transesterification catalyst. The present invention also provides a resin composition obtained by curing the liquid varnish.
