Abstract:
A resin composition for a composite material comprising the following indispensable ingredients: (A) a mixture of three kinds of bismaleimides, i.e., N,N'-diphenylmethanebismaleimide, N,N'-tolylenebismaleimide, and N,N'-trimethylhexamethylenebismaleimide; and (B) an allyl-etherified substituted phenolic novolak resin and/or allyl phenyl ether compound represented by general formula (I), wherein X is a direct bond, (a), (b), or (c), R1 to R4 may be the same or different and are each -CH3, -C2H5, -CH(CH3)2, -n-C3H7, -n-C4H9, -C(CH3)3, -CH(CH3)-n-C2H5, -CH2CH(CH3)2, or -Br.
