Abstract:
The present invention provides a resin composition that makes it possible to obtain a high-quality color filter having high optical density and excellent long-term stability and insulating properties. Also provided are a cured product of the resin composition, a black matrix, a color filter, a liquid crystal display device, an organic electroluminescent display device, and a method for producing the resin composition. The resin composition includes: black particles containing amorphous carbon; and a curable compound. The black particles have a specific gravity of 1.75 or less and an oil absorption of 30-120 ml/100 g as defined in JIS K 5101-13-1.
