Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an antibacterial/antiviral resin composition that maintains high antibacterial/antiviral activity over an extended period of time. [Solution] An antibacterial/antiviral resin composition obtained by kneading at least gluconic acid and zinc gluconate into a thermoplastic resin. Zinc oxide may also be kneaded in. The mass ratio of each component is 0.15 to 1.05 mass parts of gluconic acid and 0.15 to 1.05 mass parts of zinc gluconate per 100 mass parts of thermoplastic resin. The antibacterial/antiviral resin composition can be made into a foamed resin product, a film product, a fiber product, etc.
