Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a resin composition for forming an optical waveguide, which comprises (A) a polymer having a hydroxy group and/or a carboxyl group, (B) a (meth)acrylate having a urethane bond, (C) a polyfunctional block isocyanate compound and (D) a radical polymerization initiator; a resin film for forming an optical waveguide, which is produced using the resin composition for forming an optical waveguide; and an optical waveguide in which at least one of a lower clad layer, a core part and an upper clad layer is formed using the resin film for forming an optical waveguide or the resin film for forming an optical waveguide. The present invention provides: a resin composition for forming an optical waveguide, which enables the highly accurate formation of a thick film having excellent transparency, heat resistance and toughness and which is particularly useful for a resin film for forming an optical waveguide with high productivity; a resin film for forming an optical material, which is produced using the resin composition for forming an optical waveguide; and a resin composition for forming an optical waveguide, a resin film for forming an optical waveguide, and an optical waveguide having excellent transparency, heat resistance, environmental reliability and toughness, each of which is produced using the resin composition or the resin film.
