Abstract:
Disclosed is a resin composition for a heat-resistant electric wire which exhibits high heat-resistance, high flame retardancy, good heat aging-resistance and high PVC-compatibility. Specifically disclosed is a resin composition for a heat-resistant electric wire, comprising 100 parts by weight of a base resin component, which comprises 30-55 parts by weight inclusive of a polymer having a glass transition temperature or melting point of 180°C or higher, 15-49 parts by weight inclusive of a polyolefin and 21-30 parts by weight inclusive of a styrene-based elastomer component, and 5-20 parts by weight inclusive of a phosphorus-based flame retardant agent, wherein the content of a styrene unit represented by chemical formula (I) in said styrene-based elastomer component is 30 wt% or less.
