Abstract: A purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin composition that has good storage stability, improves crack resistance during thick film formation, and improves the initial efficiency and long-term cycle characteristics when used as a negative electrode binder. The present invention provides a resin composition that includes (a) a polyamide resin, wherein the (a) polyamide resin has a structure in the main chain in which a hydrogen atom bonded to a nitrogen atom of an amide group is substituted by another group, and the resin includes at least one anion selected from the group consisting of a phenoxide anion, a carboxylate anion, and a sulfonate anion and a counter cation to the anion in a side chain.
