Abstract:
Provided are: a resin composition that has excellent gas barrier properties, retort resistance, and long run properties and also has exceptional hue and film thickness stability during continuous melt molding; a molded article and a secondary processed product that contain the resin composition; and a method for producing the resin composition. The resin composition contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), a polyamide resin (B), an alkaline earth metal salt (C), and an alkali metal salt (D); the mass ratio (A/B) of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and the polyamide resin (B) is 55/45-99/1; the alkaline earth metal salt (C) content in terms of metal atoms is 10-200 ppm relative to the total amount of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and the polyamide resin (B); and the ratio (Dm/Cm) of the mass (Dm) in terms of metal atoms of the alkali metal salt (D) to the mass (Cm) in terms of metal atoms of the alkaline earth metal salt (C) is 1-20.
