Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a resin composition which contains an inorganic powder in a high proportion and from which stretched sheets having satisfactory stretchability and combining high whiteness with opacity can be produced. The present invention provides a resin composition for producing stretched sheets which comprises a first thermoplastic resin, a second thermoplastic resin, which differs from the first thermoplastic resin, and an inorganic powder, wherein the mass ratio of the first thermoplastic resin to the inorganic powder is 50:50 to 10:90, the content of the second thermoplastic resin is 1-7 mass% with respect to the sum of the first thermoplastic resin and the inorganic powder, and the second thermoplastic resin is lowly stereoregular polypropylene.
