Abstract:
The present invention provides a resin composition which enables the achievement of a good balance among low gas permeability, flexibility and low water vapor permeability, said properties being required for a refrigerant transporting hose. A resin composition for refrigerant transporting hoses, said resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and an elastomer. This resin composition for refrigerant transporting hoses is characterized in that: a sea-island structure wherein the thermoplastic resin forms a matrix and the elastomer forms domains is formed; and the oxygen permeability coefficient P(O2) at the temperature of 21°C at the relative humidity of 50%, the 10% modulus M10 at the temperature of 25°C and the water vapor permeability coefficient P(H2O) at the temperature of 60°C at the relative humidity of 100% satisfy formula 1 and formula 2.
