Abstract:
The present invention provides a method which imparts superior external appearance and superior vibration-damping properties in a temperature range of an environment in which a vibration-damping material is used. This resin composition for a vibration-damping coating material contains emulsion particles each having a multilayer structure, wherein the emulsion particles each have an outermost layer and an inner layer located inside the outermost layer, the glass transition temperature of a resin constituting the outermost layer is 60°C or higher, and the mass proportion of the outermost layer is 1-30 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the emulsion particle.
